"Wicked Need" by Sawyer Bennett just blew me away!!! I am so in love with Rand and grew to adore Catherine - I couldn't put it down and didn't want it to end. Ms. Bennett is one of my favorite authors, however, for some reason, I was hesitant to read this series. Well, no more. I can't read the first two books fast enough. Yes, this story has sex - lots of ooh la la sex but there is so much more - the depth of the characters is real, the emotions and feelings - deep, the story heartbreaking and uplifting. Rand is amazing - I love that Ms. Bennett wrote him to be a down to earth guy that is unbelievably patient and kind and caring. Catherine, well, let's just say she has a bit of baggage. Her journey to self discovery and self worth grabbed me and didn't let go. The two together are awesome. Ms. Bennett has a knack for writing stories that are intense and sweet, have a bit of angst and a whole lot of love and characters that are passionate, emotional and real. I cannot wait for her next book - whichever series it might be! (received copy for honest review)
