Praise for HEARTSONG COTTAGE

“March excels at creating tortured characters in need of redemption and renewel, and this book is no exception. It has plenty to offer from light suspense to romance, close friendships in a small town setting, dogs, and angels. Recommend to fans of Robyn Carr’s Virgin River series and Susan Mallery’s Fool’s Gold series” –Booklist, STARRED REVIEW
“A soul-searing story that chills the heart of every parent yet brings healing and hope along with an angelic touch and a dash of Christmas cheer to the latest in March’s magical series.”
Library Journal, Holiday Edition, “Season Sparklers”
“Delightful and uplifting… the plot contains more than enough twists and turns to keep the story real and satisfying.” –Publishers Weekly

CAT'S REVIEW

"Reunion Pass" by Emily March is a story filled with love, heartache, pain and laughter.  Our main characters are Lori and Chase - two people that were deeply in love but life took them down separate paths and apart from each other.  Now, years later, those paths are crossing once again.  Lori is a new vet and loves it.  That shows the type of person she is - caring, kind and compassionate.  Yet she has a strength about her that shines through.  Chase has lived his life to the fullest and is the ultimate adventurer.  He's funny and full of zest but a tragic event has changed him.  I found the author did a good job of portraying Chase's PTSD and I just wanted to reach out and hug him.  My heart ached for him and Lori but I was so proud of them both for the way they handled themselves.  I was enthralled right from the start and couldn't put it down.  I have to say, though, that the second half of the book moved a bit fast for me.   I would have liked to have seen a bit more resolution in detail as far as Chase's recovery and his and Lori's new (old) found love.   It seemed that both happened relatively fast and easily.  Despite that, I still found the book to be entertaining and intriguing.  I was caught up in the story and the characters and, having read a couple of previous books in this series, enjoyed "catching up" with other characters.  Just a note, while I don't believe reading the entire series is necessary to enjoy this story, it would help, I think, to get a handle on all of the secondary characters - there are quite a few.  And, it's a really beautiful series that I would certainly recommend.
